Tell the story of your ride!

Your car, truck, or bike has a story to tell, so tell it.

One sure-fire way to draw attention to your car or truck at the show is to have a sharp looking show-card or show-board sitting with it.  Listing what your ride has, maybe a little bragging if you're into that, what modifications you've made, some details on its history, a photograph, and even a name may all help get you points and votes.  It also tells the judges and spectators about you and your 'prize-possession'.

Your ride is special, and so your show-card should match.

We are proud to have Suze Rooney as the Director of Art and Graphics.  Suze has 30 years experience in the professional graphic arts field, the last 24 of which has been directly related to the performance racing industry.

Even though she has made a living in commercial art as the art and advertising director for a performance parts manufacturer, her real passion is the drawing and painting of various modes of transportation, especially aircraft.  Some of her works have been displayed at several airports and museums including the Experimental Aircraft Association's Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Combining commercial and fine art, using her talent in composition and layout, Suze has produced some of the finest show-cards available.  Having started with a very select group of clients, Suze can now produce an original ShowCard just for you.

Even with a show-stopper like the "Black Pearl" Challenger SRT, a good show-card attracts attention and even some fans, not to mention some extra points from judges.

FAQ's
AHEAD

Q)  Why do all show-boards seem so expensive?

A)  A lot of time goes into the creation of a show-board, even the simplest.  Check our competition's prices.  Cropping a photograph properly takes time, which explains why adding photographs that need cropping adds to the cost.  This is also why Suze insists on you contacting us before you order the ShowCard.  If a photograph doesn't require too much cropping it may be added without additional cost.

Q)  How long does it take to get a ShowCard by Suze?

A)  Depending on how complex your Card is and how quickly your response back to us is, most ShowCards take approximately 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.

Q)  Do you need to take the photographs or can you use photos I have?

A)  In most cases we can use your digital photographs.  We prefer higher resolution so the output is the sharpest when enlarged, but we have been very successful with resampling lower resolution pics.  For those residing in the Baltimore County, Maryland and surrounding areas, or those participating in shows we may be attending, we'll be happy to arrange a photoshoot so we can take the pics for you.   If you have a print you want to use in a ShowCard, we may be able to scan it for use.  Check with Suze regarding this.

Q)  Why do you use PVC board?

A)  Unlike sheet stock that is laminated foam between paper or thin plasic, PVC board is a solid, lightweight, sealed sheet that is less susceptible to moisture.  PVC board is stronger and more durable.

Q)  Why would someone want the ShowCard mounted to 1/4" PVC board without a clear plexiglass cover?

A)  Some owners prefer to hang showcards from their hoods or prop them up against the vehicle, therefore weight becomes an issue.  Even though the ShowCards are still considered lightweight, for personal preference you may want something even lighter.  We have mounted showcards to 1/8" PVC without a plexiglass cover sheet for some of our clients.

Q)  What information do I need to send you for inclusion on the ShowCard?

A)  This depends on you !  How much do you want to say about your car?  What specifications do you want to mention?  Will a judge know what is stock and what modifications were made?  Will the spectators?  In many cases we can help by researching data available on the web.
